What a weekend it was!
From July 25th to 27th, 2025, we gathered virtually for the Cyber Portfolio Bootcamp, and what followed was nothing short of transformational.
Over 350 passionate learners from 9 countries — Nigeria, Ghana, Malawi, Germany, India, Mozambique, the UK, the Philippines, and the US — came together, committed to one goal:
To demystify the Linux terminal, build professional portfolios, and take ownership of their cybersecurity journey.
At MOBA CyberSafety Nexus Academy, we believe that skills are powerful, but visibility is transformative.
This Bootcamp wasn’t just about learning — it was about making sure learners know how to show their work, document their progress, and position themselves confidently for global opportunities.
What We Covered
✅ Linux Terminal Confidence – The terminal doesn’t have to be scary! Our trainer walked participants through common commands, troubleshooting tips, and even how to use AI tools to get unstuck.
✅ Git & GitHub Workflow – From git config to git push, learners practiced how to publish their projects and organize their work in ways that speak directly to recruiters and potential employers.
✅ Portfolio Building – Because doing the work is not enough. We showed participants how to structure their repositories and make their skills visible through GitHub.
