An Unforgettable Day of Cybersecurity Excellence: Graduation Ceremony Highlights
On May 11, 2025, we came together to celebrate the graduation of Cohorts 3, 4, and Cyber Queens 2025, a pivotal moment for 64 bright minds entering the world of cybersecurity. The ceremony was filled with powerful moments, inspiring speeches, and a celebration of all that was achieved over the past months.
From Sir Emmanuel Atwam’s inspiring journey in law enforcement to Dr. Cheryl Cooper’s call to empower women in cybersecurity, the event was packed with invaluable insights that left everyone in awe. Special recognition goes to Ma’am Adesola Oguntimehin for her advice on certifications, and Sir Emmanuel Adinkra for his deep commitment to online child protection.
The graduates themselves were a true highlight:
- Jacqueline from Uganda shared her transformation from a reluctant IT analyst to an enthusiastic cybersecurity student, praising the training that shaped her path.
- Vedanti Todkar from India expressed how the program positively impacted her career and praised Olabimpe for her leadership.
Special Gifts and Acknowledgments:
💙 Dr. Cheryl Cooper gifted her book, ‘Breaking the Code: Winning Strategies for Women in Cybersecurity & Tech’ to all female graduates.
💙 Olabimpe Adeloro—Cyber-Police gifted 33 members of the Girls in ICT group a copy of her book, Encrypted Heart, a heartfelt gesture to encourage and uplift these incredible women in tech.
💙 Two graduates received financial support to continue their Cisco certification journey.
💙 16 Girls in ICT got 10GB data bandwidth
