Turn Your Challenges Into Stepping Stones

He’s not taking me to the Caribbean again. Chai!!! 😥
It’s a bittersweet reality after 19 years of meticulously planned wedding anniversary vacations.
Our Platinum celebration was supposed to be a dream cruise across the Caribbean, a journey I’ve been planning for five years. But life, as it often does, had other plans.
Last year, a major shift threw our lives into uncharted waters. I held onto hope, thinking by September 2024, the storm would pass, and we’d be back on course.
By December 2023, reality began to dawn, though I clung to optimism through March 2024. I got distracted handing a project by April through June that I didn’t see the ship sinking. By late June, it was clear: Olabimpe, you can’t set sail with just dreams and no anchor in reality.
But letting our Platinum anniversary go “woorowo” (quietly)? Not me. Instead of dwelling on what could have been, I channeled my energy into what I do best—impacting lives through teaching.
This year, instead of a cruise, I’m navigating a different kind of journey—a month-long series of professional events, spending this special season not just with my best-man but also with my community.
Boom the calendar flashed through my head like the emergency alarm, I started consulting industry leaders for collaboration and guess what, your girl got all YES except one that would not be available at this time.
Here is the joyous calendar:
September 1st – Unlocking LinkedIn Gold: Mastering Profile Optimization (Chika Ike-Ojukwu)
September 8th – Position Yourself for Global Opportunities (Bolutife Ademokoya)
September 14th – Monetize Your Cybersecurity Tech and Soft Skills (Joy Eki Omovie.)
